According to ITPC’s Director Tu Minh Thien, who is also head of the organising board, the 300-stand exhibition will showcase the economic achievements that Vietnam and HCMC in particular have made in a wide range of areas, including processed products, agricultural materials, interior decor, garments, footwear, tourism, hospitality, banking, security and insurance.
It will bring together distributors and producers from both countries, giving them the opportunity to exchange business information, he said.
A number of trade and tourism promotions, cultural exchanges and seminars will also take place within the framework of the event.
Over the past few years, bilateral trade between Vietnam and Cambodia has developed well, recording nearly USD 500 million in the first three months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 130%.
